About Lauren

Lauren Weiss graduated from the University of Michigan with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics. She also holds a law degree from Fordham University School of Law, where she was an Associate Editor of the Fordham Law Review and on the Dean’s List. She spent more than seven years working as a family law attorney in New York City.

Lauren spent three years serving on the Blind Brook High School Shared Decision Making Team and also served as an Alumni Student Recruiter for the University of Michigan.

After guiding her own teenage children through the college application process, both of whom attend Cornell University, Lauren enrolled in UCLA’s college counseling program and expects to receive her certification in early Spring 2022. She also volunteers at Latino U College Access Program, where she mentors first-generation high school students through the college application process.

Lauren loves helping students tell their stories and guiding them through the process of finding the college that is the right fit for them. Students who work with Lauren can expect an organized, individually tailored process and a supportive, enthusiastic coach.
